THE BOOK
Country Music is the second essay in the Poetics of the Handmade Series, which asks writer-bookmakers to discuss the whys, hows, and wherefores of micropress publishing. This essay by Ark Press publishers Nathan Hauke and Kirsten Jorgenson discusses Ark's projects in its first year: writing workshops, readings, poetics talks, broadsides and chapbooks, all made and carried on in the small town of Todd, North Carolina.
