THE AUTHOR

Ian Dreiblatt is a poet and translator who is really interested in a lot of things, including writing from the ancient world, Soviet mass culture, and inter-species friendship. he is the author of sonnets (Metambesen, 2014) and barishonah (DoubleCross, 2015), and his translations include Gogol's The Nose (Melville House, 2014) and Comradely Greetings (Verso, 2014), the prison correspondence of Pussy Riot's Nadezhda Tolokonnikova with philosopher Slavoj Žižek. He lives with Anna in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
